Pearls III is a 501(c)(3) District of Columbia based organization that has served as the fundraising arm of the Rho Mu Omega Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated since the Foundation was established in 2000. Founded at Howard University in 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha is a nonprofit organization of more than 200,000 women in the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Through 930 college campus chapters and graduate chapters, like Rho Mu Omega, Alpha Kappa Alpha members carry out a national programs.
