2023-2024 Debutante Season
The Pearl Ball Cotillion is a culminating program presented by DC Pearls III Foundation, working together with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Rho Mu Omega Chapter. Young ladies participating in the cotillion program will have the outstanding opportunity to experience a wide array of cultural, academic, and social activities, while at the same time obtaining scholarship funds to support their college career. Upon completion of debutants training, she will participate in a debutante ball, a formal presentation of young ladies to society. This unique program is an experience that will remain in the hearts and minds of each young lady for the rest of their lives.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership Development
- Fundraising
- Dance Lessons
- Etiquette Training
- Career Planning
- College Preparation Workshops
- Community Service Projects
- Personal Care and Grooming
- Personal Development Workshops
Service activities are an integral part of the debutante program. Through participation in service projects, debutantes are provided an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills. These activities are mandatory, with debutantes being responsible for accumulating a minimum of 10 hours of community service to participate in the ceremony. The top fundraiser will be named “Miss Pearl Ball 2024.”
