DC Pearls III Foundation was incorporated on April 1, 2002 as 501(c)3 non-profit in the District of Columbia to sponsor initiatives that focus on the underserved communities in Washington, DC, to reduce disparities in the areas of health, education, economic security and cultural arts.

The DC Pearls III Foundation sponsors fundraising events to fund our community service programs. Our major fundraising events include the Jazz Brunch Auction, the Debutante Cotillion Program, and the Treasured Pearl Raffle.  Our fundraising efforts are vital to our mission of awarding scholarships to area high school students and providing  service to the DC community.

We have established an educational scholarship fund for Washington, D.C. high school graduates to continue their education at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).  A minimum of six scholarships are awarded annually to students who have been accepted and plan to attend an HBCU with additional awards provided during their four-year matriculation. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence or potential, leadership skills, and community service.

DC Pearls III Foundation is dedicated and committed to the successful implementation of our programs established to meet the needs of our communities.
